Hi...

Again! It's been a while since I last blogged. The thing is I was kinda busy with stuff. Maths workload in Form 6 feels as heavy as when I carry Ken to the bed, or maybe more. My classmates are fun people though! No cliques, so it was easy to mix and chat with them.

I'm gonna dance in the opening ceremony for the Malaysia Games, or SUKMA! I decided to join because of the chance to appear on TV. Haha, awesomeness! But practice schedule is kinda tiring. The ceremony will be on this Saturday so everyday it's like practice from 6 to 11. But most of the time we only sit and wait, or stop and stare, thinking we're moving to dance but we go nowhere, then when it's finally our turn to dance, it'll only be a maximum of two times.

Sometimes, I ask myself why I chose to join this, knowing the busy schedule and all, but like my sister said, "Cost of fame, Shaun."

Oh well, for fame it is then. I'm standing on the fourth from the front so I'd probably get lots of camera time. Wheee!

The only disappointing thing is that I'd have to put on some make-up. If you tune in on Saturday and see someone throwing up due to the make-up, then it'll most likely be me. Looking at the positives, more camera time. Wheee!

Just A Thought

If you can't buy 'P' stickers in a driving school because it was allegedly said to be out of stock, is it possible to get the stickers anywhere else?

Isn't it like going to the hospital and being told that all medicine are out of stock?

Or worse, going to McDonald's just to find out that all burgers are out of stock?

Or worst, going to Zoo Malacca but realising there are no animals except confused people who thought that animals were supposed to be in the zoo (or it wouldn't be called a zoo but a gathering).

Or worst-er, going to the Manchester United stadium just to realise all merchandise are... out of stock?!?! Oh the HORROR!

My point here is that if you can't get something expected to be at a certain place, then isn't there something wrong?

Just a thought.

My Family And I...

Went to Tiara (not the one in PJ by the way) for a session of saun-ah and dinner. As we were walking back to the car, I saw my mom carrying a bag of our dirty clothes and thought I'd help, but it's always been my habit to ask my brother to do it first, if not I'd do it myself (though most of the time he does it).

Me: Ken, you see mommy carrying the bag! Looks so heavy! Go help her!

Ken: You go and help yourself la!

Me: You really don't want to help ar?

Ken: Nope.

Me: Fine loh, I help mommy then I'll get more reward in heaven than you.

Ken: What you mean?

Me: I'll just probably make a million more than you in heaven because of this.

Ken: .....

Okla! I take la!

Pass!

I passed the driving test! And without bribing! It can be done! Although I got a feeling God really did help me here. Haha the invigilator on the road was nice to me. There was once she honked another person taking the test to hurry up because his engine died and the traffic light was turning to red already. But then that honk must have affected me as well as I didn't change gear after that and got points deducted.

All in all, I got 16/20 which was just a barely-make-it kind of pass. But still happy. Oh, and ya, my engine died as well when I was near the gong, but she was merciful and passed me too. I wouldn't have been able to do it if God hadn't given her a good mood today. So thank You, Lord, and thank you guys for your prayers and wishes.

Hwei mentioned that I was lousy because neither did I break her record of sitting for the test 3 times nor Shuen's twice. She even asked me to put on sackcloth and ashes. I almost felt guilty and terrible, but thankfully I'm smart to not be tricked. Mark my words; she's capable of brainwashing you! Lawyers are probably the only group people who can convince you that a cat barks and make you feel dumb for thinking it meows. Beware!

Hwei: Shaun, you fool! Cats bark while dogs meow away!
Shuen: Oh camera! Pose Pose!

Just a reminder, it can be done. Don't worry too much about passing that you do what's wrong. The ends don't justify the means.

Worth

It's always good to know someone didn't bribe the invigilator during the driving test to pass. Moreover if that someone is a non-Christian.

My sis said,

"It's during times like this that our moral standards are tested. If we only apply them when times are easy then we're not very different from the rest of the world are we?" Ya I know, very un-lawly.

As a Christian, there really isn't much option to choose except to just go for the test cleanly and knowing a fail is a possibility. But seeing non-Christians taking the same stand makes it all the more worth it to do so, even if it's only one person.

I choose to stand out! Vote for ACCA right now!

It's just my stand. Don't get me wrong as condemning anybody and then bombard me left, right, centre, diagonal, and vertical alright?

Oh, and ya. A shout-out to my sisters and others who did not bribe the invigilator to pass. It has encouraged me to do the same too. Thanks a lot for choosing to stand out!
