Malaysia...

Won the AFF Suzuki Cup!!!

They were playing more defensively in the second leg as compared to the first leg, but hey, they did well anyway! And I believe that Safee Sali was awesome too. His header in the first leg was so fast, totally opposite to the monorail in Malacca! Then in the second leg, the through pass was so accurate while the power of his shot was just so great, even Stephen Chow from Shaolin Soccer would be proud of it!

Oh ya, he didn't really know what to do after accepting the award. But hey, we still love you dude!

Anyway, because of their achievement, we're getting a holiday tomorrow! But students like me are unaffected since we're already on holiday. And that means teachers also. Wouldn't that be unfair to us? Well, I sure hope the government would realise this fast and change the holiday to next Monday when school ACTUALLY starts.

I just hope that there'll be many cups for Malaysia to take part and win, so that we'll have plenty of holidays. Whee!

"I'm Facing...

A new challenge in life, even though now I can only use a wheelchair to go somewhere, but I believe it is only temporary, because I am confident I can stand up and walk like normal again someday. Appreciate the importance of Life and Fight for the future . Thinking positive and leading to a better life."

-Giin Rong-

Giin Rong is my friend who got into the bus accident a few months back. His condition was so bad doctors said he might not be able to walk anymore. But after the operation, though chances are small, doctors said he might be able to walk on his own two feet again.

I guess it's always been easier to give up than to go the extra distance in anything. But I believe, the extra distance is what proves the difference between an ordinary life, and a better one.

To go an extra round even though the body tells you otherwise.

To remain silent even though you have the right to make people feel miserable.

To dare to hope that you'll be walking again without the aid of a wheelchair.

To know that God is in control even though things may seem a wreck.

To just believe.

Giin Rong chose to go the extra distance. And I find myself asking if I would do the same in the current web I'm in.

Yes, Lord. Help me.

I Am An...

Opportunist!

What is an opportunist you might ask. Well, in layman's terms, an opportunist is a person, who, when accidentally falls into the river, says,

"What the heck? Oh well, I'll take a bath anyway!"

And no, I'm not that person who fell into the river! But yeah, I think I am something like that.

Case in point: I was supposed to wipe the windows using old newspapers.

Doing my work so enthusiastically.

But then, being the opportunist that I am, I...

Read the papers too.
