A new sibling!

Today, Bio teacher was teaching us about bacteria and virus. Now, for the little readers, please don't sleep when you come across the word 'Bio'. It gets interesting. Anyway, she popped a question, name the fly that can transmit a bacteria that will cause a don't-know-what disease. She didn't say don't-know-what, it's just that I kinda forgot the disease's name. As usual, nobody could remember the name of the fly so she wrote it on the green board. The name was astonishing. It made me wonder why my parents have been hiding this secret for the past 16 years. The name is....

Tsetse fly.

I was like "What the? I have another sibling that transmit diseases?" Well, here's a picture of my lost-and-flying sibling.

Isn't he/she/it just adorable? It has big eyes like mine, wider forehead than Hwei, is probably as good in counting as Shuen (have to count babies) and big appetite like Ken! I'm ecstatic.

I feel Old

I always call those older than me old, because they are old, and they admit they are old. Anyway, yesterday while practicing songs with Yen Mei and Jessica for the youth meeting, I saw a bus stopping in front of the gate of MGC. That bus is not an ordinary one, it contains monsters. I'm surprised they have not torn pieces of it out or flatten the tyres or something. Anyway, while protecting the mic from the usual like-the-mic monsters, I saw 2 Indian boys walking in. They were shy, and looked about 8 or 9 years old and nice. One of them were Kathic Gajah (I think the spelling is like that) while the other was Stephen. I chatted with Elephant a while, when suddenly he called me uncle.

I was literally jaw-dropped and I was like, "OI! I still young la!" Goodness, an unintentional monster, didn't expect that. Although I'm much older than him, I can say I'm not THAT old, and I do not ADMIT that I'm old! Anyway, for those oldies out there, my heart feels for you....honestly... really...seriously la!

Tennis is tough!

Today is the first time I played tennis.... and it's a lot more difficult than when you see all those liars, fakers and bluffers on TV! The serve is like so hard to serve and the shots are like attracted to the net, everytime hit net! Wei Jin, Yen Mei and I played while the youths later joined. It was quite fun, especially when you're playing it with your pals! Tennis makes badminton so much easier to play. Half the time we run was to take the tennis balls, not chase the shots... because all hit net. I expect to see muscular legs among the youths present already.

Former World No. 1 Liar, Faker, Bluffer. Making serves look so easy.
His name is Federer.... And I'm so Fed-up with him.

Current World No. 1 Liar, Faker, Bluffer. He makes muscles look easy to get.

Well, at the end of the day, I still enjoy watching tennis! Though it's true what Yen Mei said:

"Tennis gets you feeling discouraged."

Every sport does when you're playing it the 1st time, or 2nd, or 3rd actually. So it's good to know I'm not the only lousy one in MGC. Didn't plan to hurt those who play by saying they lousy also ya.

Why I will never buy Toto

Today, while talking to my friends on the field with about another 2000 students on it as well, a bird could not hold its poo any longer and decided to let go. A 100x50m field was ready to accept the fertilizer but due to poor physics, it dropped on my hand. Yeah, out of 3998 other hands, it fell on mine. You know, I've never won any lucky draw, maybe because I was unlucky (and couldn't draw) so this must have been like winning grand prize, with the odds of 2:3998. Well, despite the encouraging figures, it still felt like an unlucky draw instead.

Darn you, Toto Bird!

Kids

Today, while waiting for dad to come pick me up, I sat at the MAA entrance reading the bible. A little boy, shorter than Ken a bit, came out of the store next door, wearing a Power Rangers mask, dressed with the suit, holding a short sword. It was very funny to see him like this, and he was running to one end, Hong Leong Bank and raising his sword, finding his mom. After running to one end just to realise his parents not there, he came back with still the spirit of the PR. Just as he reached the store, his parents and a kid, most likely his brother appeared from the corner of the bank. He was so happy to see them that he ran there again. I noticed the kid, with the parents, was also wearing a Power Rangers mask with the suit and sword as well! Both of them were like running back and forth and swinging their swords! When they passed me, one of them looked at me weirdly with the expression, "Dude, where's your Power Rangers mask??" It was a really adorable sight to see, and if I brought my handphone along, I would have snapped pictures to prove it, but too bad I didn't. My conclusion from this scene today is that:

All Kids are adorable.

Yup, you have to admit that no matter how monstrous the kids in our church can be, there are adorable moments from them. If you need more convincing, look at this kid.

Pic taken from Hwei's Friendster

Heh.... Yen Mei calls me a kid, kiddo to be exact. Everyone says I still look like a kid even though I'm 16 already. What to say, guys... you said it!

It's been long since I SS.
Super Shaun I mean :D

My 1st try on Poetry

It's been long since I blogged. So sorry as Internet connection could not be reached. Anyway, I tried poetry, it's pretty fun. You know the poem by Shakespeare? The one title Sonnet 18 where he compared his beloved to a summer day. I can do the same too.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
NO! Malaysia has no summer!
Instead, I shall compare you to a sunny day.
With you, I will shine.

Not bad eh? By the way, just an update about the wedding. Geng Yi and Beng Hui was there as 2 tables were occupied by MGC people. The newer youths wouldn't know who the woman getting married is because she left when I was just a kid and it took me a while to remember her. It was quite a fun night and my face became red and looked drunk because I drank too much Sprite.
