I Feel...

Sick. The fever has already left the body, but I still feel strange. It's like you know the body is not 100% fit, that kind of feeling. It feels like I have a lot of gas. Not my butt, my stomach. Keep burping and stuff. Even the colour of my droppings aren't as lively as they were before. I think it's KFC. Those chickens in the bucket ones. Very dangerous. Quite a few have already suffered from diarrhoea already. So be careful ya. The chickens might be out for revenge for all the relatives you ate.

How Does It Feel...

When someone ignores you? It's like you're halfway talking to that person and he/she just goes away without apologizing or giving any reason. The only thing they leave you with is confusion and disappointment.

It feels bad and sucky right?

That's what we do sometimes, or most of the time, to God.

We read His word, maybe a paragraph of two, ponder upon those words, and before even finishing the chapter, we fall asleep. Or we go to bed, pray for a while, and before even finishing the prayer, we fall asleep.

To be honest, I've done it before. Sometimes, I sleep even before I start praying. Somehow it just bad doing that to God, the one who did a lot for me. I'm just ashamed I can't spend a few minutes to talk to Him without my eyes half-closed.

Now, for the question that always comes:

What are we going to do about it?

Make it a point to spend time with God and to be alert when doing so. Don't get Him disappointed.

Most People...

Do not know the later part of the story "The Tortoise and the Hare" and of course, the lesson.

They all think it ends after the tortoise wins the race.

It doesn't.

Just to make sure we all have the same version of the story here I'll be retelling it.

The hare was a very fast animal, always doing things fast, and he liked it furious. Some claimed he was so fast, he made a cheetah look like a snail.

The tortoise on the other hand, was a very slow but steady animal. All the animals claimed he was so slow, he made a snail look like a cheetah.

One day, the hare decided to have a race. Of course, the hare led the race but slept when nearing the end of the race and the tortoise managed to crawl past the finishing line. Hare realises his mistake, apologizes and The End.

That's what they all think. Here's the later part of the story.

For the next 99 races between the two, the hare won them all.

Lesson of the story:

The hare is still the fastest. If exam asks you which is faster, don't give tortoise as your answer.

Four Christmases...

Is a dumb show. Period.
